As an Grain Plant Operator, you will:
Perform critical operations to keep facility running: Loading/Unloading, trucks and railcars. Other grain handling including, filling /reclaiming of ground piles, transferring, blending etc
Provide a high level of customer service by displaying courteous, helpful, knowledgeable interaction and behaviors
Maintain the general appearance of the facility to include elevators, grounds, buildings, etc
Monitor equipment to ensure it's in good working order, participate in the overall maintenance of the facility and equipment - notify management of any necessary repairs or possible equipment concerns
Be an involved/engaged member of a team and be willing to act and think independently
Understanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations
Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
Other duties as assigned

Cargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility
Must be able to understand and communicate in English(verbal/written)
Basic computer skills
Must be able to perform with or without reasonable accommodation: bending, kneeling, climbing, crawling, twisting and lift a minimum of 50 pounds
Must be able to operate machinery
Ability to work overtime, holidays, nights, weekends or different shifts with advance notice
Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, confined spaces, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and a respirator mask
Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
Prior experience in production related work
High School diploma or GED Equivalent
