Need 1 full time, temporary, seasonal Agricultural Equipment Operator to work for Douglas Kramer in Bejou, MN. From: 03/01/2021 to 12/31/2021 Work: 48 hrs./week, Mon.-Sat. 8 hrs./day All hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of time and a half. JOB DUTIES: Drive and operate farm machinery to plant, cultivate, harvest and store grain crops of corn, soybeans, and wheat. Attach farm implements, such as plow, disc and drill to tractor. Till soil; plant and cultivate grain. Tow harvesting equipment. Drive and operate self-propelled combine. General lubrication, service (check fluids), and incidental repair to farm machinery. Drive grain trucks to transport crops to elevator or storage area. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Minimum (2) months experience; able to lift 60 lbs.; exposure to extreme temperatures; extensive sitting and walking; drug screen post hire at employer's expense due to the liability of driving heavy trucks and equipment on public roads; criminal background check post hire at employer's expense due to expensive tools and equipment on the farm. Failure to pass drug screen and/or criminal background check will result in termination of employment. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30-90 days of hire. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance; employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $12.68 per day during travel to a maximum of $55.00 per day with receipts.
