The Impact You’ll Make in this RoleAs a Senior Process Engineer, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Maximizing air pollution control equipment performance and uptime by proactively optimizing preventive maintenance and spare part availability

  • Developing and maintaining a site infrastructure renewal plan

  • Implementing an equipment maintenance strategy that minimizes cost while ensuring predictable spending

  • Driving major equipment installation, renewal, and improvement projects

  • Maintaining a mechanical integrity program for all applicable equipment

Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution

  • Five (5) combined years process engineering and/or manufacturing engineering experience in a private, public, government or military environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Eight (8) or more years of process and/or manufacturing engineering experience

  • Two (2) years of experience operating, maintaining, and/or optimizing wet electrostatic precipitators, venturi scrubbers, and other air pollution control equipment

  • Experience working with industrial and/or manufacturing equipment

  • Experience in a chemical processing manufacturing and/or industrial environment

  • Experience working with an incinerator or similar combustion environments

  • Experience working with process safety and/or regulatory compliance

Travel: May include up to 5%

Relocation Assistance: May be authorized
