Pace Analytical Services, Inc. Hazard Communication Specialist in Eagan, Minnesota
Candidate will author Safety Data Sheets (SDSs) to support our customer's regulatory program in this entry-level scientific position. This is a non-lab position.
Author SDSs to provide correct and up to date information to customers
Hazard evaluations for chemicals (IPTS)
Produce new and updated SDSs for products in the United States and Canada
Assist with overflow and priority products from international business units
Special products for GHS compliance
Review compliance and regulatory information of technical product documents
SAP system maintenance
BA/BS in scientific discipline
Database management skills
Strong computer skills, SAP preferred
Technical writing experience preferred
Familiarity with regulatory programs (OSHA, EPA, FDA, etc) preferred
Knowledge of label composition requirements
Detail oriented with excellent written and oral communication skills
Excellent people skills to get things done and negotiate as needed
