What you will do Actively engage and collaborate with internal business unit project teams to understand development challenges and deliver data driven solutions and robust products. Work and consult with other global functions and technical teams to solve data-intensive problems using standard statistical/analytical tools. Be encouraged and expected to innovate and be creative in your data analysis, problem solving and presentation of solutions. Work alongside RDandE anchor and project teams in the design, development, and analysis of experiments to develop new technology and new product innovation offerings. Manage access to various databases and other source systems such as SQL, Access, etc. Apply statistical analysis and visualization techniques to data. Generate and test hypotheses via appropriate quantitative methods to development projects. Apply various Machine Learning and advanced analytics techniques to perform classification or prediction tasks. Create experimental designs. Lead short courses and train groups in general statistical applications, DoE, and software (e.g., Minitab) Minimum Qualifications: Master's Degree in Data Science, Math, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field 5+ years of professional work experience 3+ years of statistical work experience Experience working with statistics/analytics/visualization tools, including Microsoft Azure Suite, Minitab, JMP, R, Design Expert, DOE, MSA, power and sampling plans, SPC. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in Python/SQL/Jupyter/PowerBI/R. Experience with VBA, JMP Scripts, and Minitab macros Self-driven, curious, and creative with a collaborative mindset. Demonstrated ability to work in diverse, cross-functional teams in a dynamic business environment. Strong communication and presentation skills.
