Kelly Services Study Director - Microbiology in Eagan, Minnesota

Kelly Science and Clinical is seeking out Microbiologists for an excellent Study Director opportunity in the Eagan, MN area!

Position Responsibilities

  • Perform Study Director functions, as outlined in EPA and FDA Good Laboratory Practices GLP Regulations 40 CFR Part 160 21 CFR Part 58 .

  • Serve as the single point of control in the execution of antimicrobial laboratory study protocols.

  • Manage the design, conduct and interpretation of test assays to ensure technical integrity of studies.

  • Perform study protocol review, raw data review, data analysis and report generation.

  • Utilize strong project management skills to efficiently manage multiple antimicrobial studies.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure client s needs are met.

  • Communicate clearly and effectively with clients, via email and phone, regarding study protocols, study results, final reports, and all other project-related information.

  • Communicate with lab technicians about each study and remain available to answer questions while studies are being conducted.

  • Report studies in a timely manner in accordance with expected performance metrics.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum BS/BA in microbiology, biology or related field.

  • Minimum 1-2 years applicable of experience in a laboratory environment.

  • Ability to organize and track multiple projects in a detail-oriented and self-directed manner.

  • Strong organizational skills required. Strong written and oral communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with EPA or FDA Good Laboratory Practice Regulations 40 CFR Part 160 or 21 CFR Part 58 .

  • Experience working in a classical microbiology or virology laboratory.

  • Ability to perform complex mathematical calculations and interpret results.

  • Knowledge of laboratory techniques, equipment, and terminology.

  • Knowledge of the principles of classical microbiology and virology, including cell culture knowledge and microscopy experience.
