Primary Responsibilities:

• Collecting, analyzing, and reporting on meaningful performance operations information for the National Coding Teams

• Translating operational reporting needs into analysis and reporting plans to ensure meaningful metric development

• Apply technology knowledge to determine best methods for data collection, analysis, and distribution of key coding operations metrics and information

• Responsible for putting in place a reporting execution plan based on strategy and needs

• Collect requirements and determine solution development based on business needs

• Work independently and in a team environment to deliver required outcomes

• Collect and analyze data and translate into relevant metrics/outputs and decisions

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in IT or 10 years work experience in the field

• Experience in handling and managing large volumes of data

• 4+ years of Tableau development

• 4+ years of experience performing data analytics, process documentation, and process improvement

• Expert knowledge of MS Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Access, SQL, and other reporting/data analysis tools like Tableau

• 3+ years of work experience in corporate setting and interacting with business leadership

• Experience in healthcare

• Ability to prioritize tasks, multi-task, and solve problems under tight deadlines

• 10% travel: to conferences / large meetings as needed

• Employees are required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or a similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener prior to entering the work site each day, in order to keep our work sites safe. Employees must comply with any state and local masking orders. In addition, when in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees are expected to wear a mask in areas where physical distancing cannot be attained.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of managed care and government pay for performance programs

• Strong knowledge of CMS Risk Adjustment

• Ability to build strong relationships across a variety of stakeholders

• Background on statistics and it’s practical applications

• Six Sigma knowledge

Colorado Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $79,700 to $142,600.
