Essentia Health Laboratory Supervisor, Full-time in Fosston, Minnesota

The Laboratory Supervisor oversees operations of the technical section(s). Responsibilities include, but are not limited to; managing staff and workflows, maintaining policies and procedures, performing staff competency assessments, monitoring statistics and test utilization, fiscal responsibility, complying with regulatory standards and maintaining accreditation, and human resource management according to Essentia Health guidelines.
- You will require excellent customer service and team working skills to promote positive relationships with patients, coworkers, departments and others. - You will work with other departments and committees to maintain a high level of care while promoting the mission and vision of Essentia Health. - You may also manage radiology department, if applicable. - You will meet Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) guidelines for the complexity of laboratory testing.
Work Experience:- 2 years of previous experience in a hospital or clinic laboratory.

Must have a current American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP)or equivalent certification
You must maintain licensure as per state requirement
Must be a graduate of a four-year degree in Clinical Laboratory science.
