Need 5 full time, temporary, seasonal Agricultural Equipment Operators to work for Bear Claw Farms, LLC in Graceville, MN. From: 04/01/2021 to 12/01/2021 Work: 48 hrs./week, Mon.-Sat. 8 hrs./day Hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of time and a half. JOB DUTIES: Operating large farm equipment and machinery equipped with GPS for cultivating, tilling, fertilizing, planting, and harvesting grain and oilseed crops such as soybeans, corn; transporting grain and oilseed crops from field to storage facilities; picking rock; grain bin and auger operation; walking fields pulling off type weeds; operating haying equipment for hay production of swathing, raking, baling, stacking and transporting from field to storage; driving farm vehicle; minor daily and incidental upkeep to equipment and worksite. Work requires exposure to extreme temperatures, extensive pushing, pulling, sitting, walking, and repetitive movements. May have to work nights, possibly weekends depending on weather conditions. Employer may request but cannot require workers to work on their Sabbath. Rate of pay may be more depending on experience, tenure with the employer, or other factors such as job performance, skill, punctuality. Drug free workplace. JOB REQUIREMENTS: 3 months experience for the job duties listed; must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.; able to perform work that requires exposure to extreme temperatures, extensive pushing, pulling, sitting, walking, and repetitive movements; must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire and obtain a clean driving record; possible random drug test post hire at employer's expense, testing positive or failure to comply may result in termination from employment. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance; employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $12.68 per day during travel to a maximum of $55.00 per day with receipts.
