Need 10 full time, temporary, seasonal Agricultural Equipment Operators to work for Charles Melberg Farms in Hector, MN. From: 08/23/2020 to 12/31/2020 Work: 35 hrs./week, Mon.-Fri. 7 hrs./day Hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of time and a half. JOB DESCRIPTION: Drive and operate farm machinery to harvest and store beans, corn, and sugar beets. Drive grain trucks and sugar beet trucks to transport crops to elevator or storage area. Perform truck driving duties and general lubrication, service (check fluids) and incidental repair to farm machinery. Maintenance of the farm shop, which includes sweeping farm shop floor and cleaning up around grain bins. Washing and winterizing equipment. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here at his sole discretion. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Minimum 3 months experience; able to lift 60 lbs.; valid Driver's License or able to obtain within 30 days of hire; drug screen post hire at employer's expense due to liability of driving trucks and heavy equipment on public roads: failure to pass drug screen will result in termination of employment; work requires extensive sitting; no minimum education requirement. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance; employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $12.68 per day during travel to a maximum of $55.00 per day with receipts.
