Need 4 full time, temporary, seasonal Agricultural Equipment Operators to work for Alan Carlson in Kennedy, MN. From: 05/19/2020 to 12/15/2020 Work: 40 hrs./week, Mon.-Fri. 8 hrs./day JOB DUTIES: Drive and operate farm machinery to plant, cultivate, harvest and store grain crops. Attach farm implements, such as plow, disc, and drill to tractor. Till soil, plant and cultivate grain. Tow harvesting equipment. Drive and operate self-propelled combine. Perform a variety of duties including lubricating and repairing farm machinery and driving grain trucks to transport crops to elevator or storage area. Farm yard maintenance such as mowing, trimming, painting fences, etc. Welding and metal fabrication. Work performed requires extensive pushing, pulling, walking, and repetitive movements. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here at his sole discretion. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Minimum 3 months experience; must be able to lift 60 lbs.; must be able to obtain driver's license within 30-90 days of hire; able to perform work requiring extensive pushing, pulling, walking, and repetitive movements; no minimum education requirement. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance; employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $12.68 per day during travel to a maximum of $55.00 per day with receipts.
