There is no better time to be part of the growing, dynamic world of agriculture - let's help you find your fit.Custom ApplicatorSummary: This position is responsible for the application of crop nutrients and crop protection products and the maintenance of custom application vehicles, equipment and facilities of all the region's agronomy locations.Five Key Roles:Application of CN, CPPPerform all types of custom application duties including but not limited to spraying, spreading, and NH3 applicationApply crop nutrients and crop protection products in a safe, accurate, and efficient mannerResponsible for the proper calibration of fertilizer and spraying equipmentComplete and maintain required application reports, vehicle inspection reports, and other required documentationEquipment/Facility MaintenanceOperate, service, and maintain all types of custom application equipment within the companyAssist with housekeeping and maintenance of the facility, roadways and assigned vehicles/equipmentTending/DeliveryOperate equipment and vehicles in a safe and responsible mannerEnsure timely and accurate delivery of products as directedAgronomy OperationsReport to centralized location at designated time unless approved by managementAssist with daily operations at locations which may include receiving, loading and delivering productsCustomer ServiceAssist in resolving customer complaints quickly and fairly in accordance with company policies and refer unusual situations to immediate supervisorProvide prompt and courteous customer serviceOtherLive the Cooperative brand by demonstrating a commitment to doing what's right, a solid work ethic, a strong sense of ownership, a passion for excellence, and genuine respect for othersSet and complete quarterly rocksAttend training, professional development and continuing education opportunitiesBe personally responsible for the safety of self and othersPerform other tasks as assignedKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn other key operational computer programsAbility to effectively communicate both verbally and in writingStrong mechanical and decision-making abilitiesAbility to remain flexible in a rapidly changing environmentExcellent organizational skills including multi-tasking, planning, prioritizing and delegatingAbility to establish and maintain effective relationships with customers, employees, supervisors, and suppliersCertifications, Licenses, Registrations:Valid driver's licenseClass A CDL with tanker and hazmat endorsementsMaintain commercial applicators licenseMeet the driver qualification standards set by the self-insured group in which the cooperative is a memberPre-employment drug testing requiredComply with Cooperative's Drug and Alcohol Policy including random drug testingQualifications:High school diploma or general education degree (GED)Minimum of two (2) years of agriculture related experienceDemonstrated experience providing professional and quality service on every acre as if it was your ownIf you have questions about how to apply, please call the HR Solution Center at 844-LOL-HR4U (844-565-4748) M-F 8:00am-4:30pm CT.Equal Opportunity Employer minorities/females/veterans/individuals with disabilities/sexual orientation/gender identity
