Under direct supervision, this position will be responsible for supporting purchasing functions as needed. This will include, but not be limited to expediting purchase orders, handling discrepancies, updating PO information

DUTIES:
Expedite PO's to ensure timely delivery and advise buyer of delays
Update PO information on overseas vendors, including pro forma and ETA; advise buyers of delays that could impact promotions and backorders
Resolve problem receipts, wrong items sent, overages and shortages; prepare appropriate paperwork for returns to vendor
Work with buyers and packaging to ensure labels are sent in a timely manner
Assist buyers in adding comments to PO's
Assist buyers to resolve any delivery issues as needed
Assist buyers in adding information to PLAT
Attendance is an essential function of this position and we rely on all our associates to be at work during their scheduled shift.
Perform other duties as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field, or commensurate experience
Attention to Detail, specific to data integrity
Ability to multi-task and prioritize daily activities
Ability to collaborate
Excellent communication/organizational skills, including follow through and communicating assertively
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
