Need 3 full time, temporary, seasonal Agricultural Equipment Operators to work for Kanten Farms, Inc. in Milan, MN. From: 04/01/2021 to 12/17/2021 Work: 40 hrs./week, Mon.-Fri. 8 hrs./day JOB DUTIES: Operating tractors, sprayers, skid steer loaders and other farm equipment to till soil, plant, cultivate, irrigate, fertilize, and harvest crops; driving semi-trucks to transport grain to elevator or storage area (no CDL required); operating equipment for field maintenance; performing work with grain bins in the form of running grain vacuums, grain sweeps, loading grain into trucks, shoveling grain, and perform housekeeping duties to ensure that storage locations are properly maintained; and operating equipment for upkeep of the shop grounds such as mowers. Manual labor in the form of sweeping and upkeep of farm shop areas, performing miscellaneous maintenance and repair, performing upkeep of areas around the farm, using hand tools and equipment to repair farm equipment and facilities will be required. Wage increase or bonus may be possible depending on experience and merit. JOB REQUIREMENTS: (3) months experience; able to lift 50 lbs.; valid Driver's License or able to obtain within 30 days of hire; possible criminal background check post hire at employer's expense to ensure safety of workers and security of equipment; possible random drug test post hire at employer's expense to ensure safety of employees and the public, testing positive will result in immediate termination of employment; basic literacy and math skills; no minimum education level required. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance; employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $12.68 per day during travel to a maximum of $55.00 per day with receipts.
