University of Minnesota Physicians Faculty Physician - Ophthalmologist (Cornea) in Minneapolis, Minnesota

As the multi-specialty group practice for the faculty of the University of Minnesota Medical School, University of Minnesota Physicians has more than 950 physicians and 1,600 health professionals, providing clinical care in over 100 specialty and sub-specialty areas. University of Minnesota Physicians is seeking an Ophthalmology Physician to join our growing eye care team at the M Health Fairview Clinics and Surgery Center in Minneapolis, MN

Practice Details:

  • 1.0 FTE

  • Join a team of 25 Ophthalmologists and 4 Optometrists

  • Updated clinic with state-of-the-art technology for imaging, laser treatment, and diagnostics

  • Opportunity for collaboration with our scientific faculty to help present and future patients with the exploration of new and improved treatments for a broad range of conditions


M Health Fairview Clinics and Surgery Center opened on February 22, 2016, in Minneapolis, MN. It houses over 37 medical specialties, from primary care to neurology and orthopedics. It’s located on the East Bank of the University of Minnesota Medical Center campus. It was created to help provide expanded clinical hours and leverage state-of-the-art technology to improve the patient experience.


  • Graduate of an accredited ACGME Ophthalmology residency and/or fellowship training program.

  • Board eligible/certified with the American Board of Ophthalmology

  • Licensed or ability to obtain the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice Licensure.

  • Ability to obtain/maintain DEA certification in the State of Minnesota

  • Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Exceptional collaboration abilities with partners and staff.

  • Understands and places importance on patient care/service.
