Aerotek Lab Technician in Minneapolis, Minnesota


The lab technician in this role would be working in the Performance Coatings Group doing testing and certification on special projects across the country. This includes sample preparation, analyzing data and summarizing findings, and application of paints and coatings as well as general research methods used to test and evaluate polymers, paints and coatings.

Execute performance testing on coatings

Monitor and perform testing of cured test panels (testing includes salf fog, humidity, light exposure, pencil hardness, elongation, corrosion, UV, adhesion, weathering, etc)

Organize and document R&D process, testing and results and writing reports of results of testing

Maintain an organized lab notebook

maintain clean, organized and safe working environment in the lab

Communication of project timing, prioritization often change making communication essential to key stakeholders

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Sciences (Chemistry preferred)


Associate's degree with 6 months of mixing, blending
