Aerotek Lab Technician in New Brighton, Minnesota


Job Description:

Candidates need the ability to follow a process and follow precise SOPs. Detail oriented individuals are required.

The primary responsibilities of these candidates would be to help put together DIY kits for people interested in joining the registry, auditing/inspecting returned/completed kits returned by new members, to file them into temporary storage, and then to pull the samples and prepare them for shipment when the contract laboratories are ready to test them.

They are adding a large project this the team's plate that requires some auditing before being send off for additional genetic typing testing.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Qualified Candidates Must Posses:

  • 4 year degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or other science degree (Provide coursework if degree varies - looking for high level biology, biochemistry, genetics, molecular biology, cell biology or immunology lab credits)

  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, communication and organizational skills.
