Position description
The EEG Technologist functions in the neurodiagnostic laboratories performing electroencephalography (EEG) and prolonged video EEG/EMU studies. The technologists are responsible for complete and accurate patient preparation, data acquisition, and providing a safe testing environment.

Opportunities for growth include TMS (Transcranial-magnetic stimulation), MDL (Movement disorder lab), HD studies, research, IONM.
Multifaceted lab with inpatient, outpatient, IONM, TMS, MDL, Research, and ambulatory practice all within one.

Qualifications
Requires a minimum of an associate's degree in Applied Science or related science.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in Neurodiagnostics (this includes previous clinical experience while attending a CAAHEP accredited NDT program or formal NDT education).
Those hired into this job description prior to year 2013 will not be impacted by this requirement.
Additional qualifications
Experience with Natus, Epic, Spect scans, 10/10 hook ups preferred, and both PEDS and adult population.
Must have demonstrated communication, and problem-solving ability. Must be highly organized, efficient, and able to work independently.
License or certification
Must be a current Registered Neurodiagnostic Technologist, Clinical Neurophysiology Technologist graduate or current CNT student to apply.
Within two years of employment, specific certification through ABRET - Neurodiagnostic Credentialing and Accreditation (R. EEG T.) is required in the laboratory of hire.
The Registry Examination should be attempted as soon as the employee is eligible. Must have current certification in Basic Life Support.

Compensation Detail
Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum pay rate is $24.86 per hour.

Schedule details Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm.
Weekend schedule Every third weekend 7:00am-7:30pm.
