As an Outreach Solutions Strategist for Mayo Clinic Laboratories (MCL), you will be responsible for promoting Mayo Clinic's core values and supporting community-based health care. In addition:
Establishes outreach program development goals specifically aimed at MCL hospital client outreach programs.
For MCL client hospitals and integrated delivery systems, facilitates and coordinates the delivery of MCL outreach consulting and support services to achieve stated outreach program development goals.
Responsibilities include evaluating, planning, coordinating, and developing MCL hospital client outreach program opportunities in conjunction with MCL client goals, objectives and resources.
Must effectively communicate to and work with multiple levels within a healthcare organization (CEO, COO, CFO, Medical Directors, Laboratory Administration), and varied hospital departments.
Identifies market opportunities and needs and refines MCL client outreach service and offerings in accordance with those needs.
Responsible to improve knowledge and to serve as an organizational resource.
Be forward thinking, understand and respond to customer's business challenges by providing enhanced solutions.
Provides direction in a concise, sensitive, informative, and professional manner.
Stays abreast of regulatory and reimbursement issues.
Bachelor's degree in business, medical technology, or sciences and five years experience in related field such as outreach program management, business planning, project management, operations, billing, managed care, outreach information services, or consulting.
Prefers candidates with lab/hospital experience.
This position is approximately 35% travel.

Master’s in business, healthcare or sciences is preferred.
Hospital outreach development experience is preferred.
Excellent interpersonal, time management and organizational skills.
Proven negotiating and influencing abilities, and well-developed facilitation skills.
Exceptional oral, written and presentation skills.
Must be a strong team player and maintain high degree of creativity and flexibility.
Must be able to work independently, be accountable and able to perform well within multifunctional environments.
Must be customer focused and possess the ability to manage several projects or tasks simultaneously while exercising appropriate judgment when prioritizing projects.
Sound decision making and problem-solving ability.
Exemption status Exempt
Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum salary every 2 weeks is approx $3,096.00, based on a full-time position.

Standard weekday business hours are typical, flexibility in working hours to meet the needs or schedules of clients across the country. This position is approximately 35% travel.
