Position description Provides support with the implementation of the work unit's operational activities, which may include but not be limited to regulatory, licensure and accreditation, inspections, auditing, sample management, and quality and operational metrics. Supports quality management activities such as event management, supplier qualification, document and records management, reportable disease reporting, audit management, and education, and training programs. Participates in and supports work unit, divisional and departmental continuous improvement activities. Provides customer service activities for clients external to Mayo Clinic. Actively partner with team members by fostering an inclusive work environment and respecting others with different backgrounds, experiences and perspectives.
*A two-year commitment to this position is required* Qualifications High school diploma or GED and 2 years relevant experience or Associates' degree.
* Visa sponsorship is not available for this position; Also, Mayo Clinic DOES NOT participate in the F-1 STEM OPT extension program* Additional qualifications Working in DLMP or a laboratory quality or administrative assistant role preferred. A strong background in basic computer programs utilized in DLMP, such as Microsoft Office for graphing and process flow. Must be self-motivated, dependable, possess proven problem-solving skills, and be able to work independently on multiple tasks and complete assignments on time. Good human relations/communication/organizational skills are needed to interact with various levels of personnel.

Compensation Detail Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum pay rate is $20.19 per hour.

Hours / Pay period 80
Schedule details The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day, day shift. Start times can be flexible within a two-hour start window agreed upon with the work-unit supervisor. This position is approved to work >50% from anywhere (remotely) with occasional on-site responsibilities as determined by laboratory needs.
Weekend schedule This position does not require weekend shifts.
