Why Mayo Clinic The goal of the Knowledge Management & Delivery program is to facilitate the process of clinical knowledge management throughout the entire clinical knowledge lifecycle – from the point of knowledge generation, through cataloging, embedding knowledge into workflow, and measuring the usage and effectiveness of that knowledge. This position is focused on customer relationships and editorial support in the elicitation and curation of Mayo's clinical knowledge through group facilitation of knowledge content boards (physician groups, often specialty-specific or multidisciplinary).

Position description The Section Editor is responsible for a major body of clinical content. The Section Editor:
*Develops and maintains editorial guidelines for the section.
*Manages editorial processes, including the creation, review, approval, and updating of content, establishing and adhering to best practices.
*Edits and approves content to ensure consistency within the section.
*Supervises and ensures continuous development of staff.
This is full-time remote position. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, or related field. Must have at least seven years of publishing experience and at least two years of managing staff. Demonstrated ability to lead projects and people. Ability to work in a dynamic, deadline-driven team environment. Requires good decision-making, problem solving, and judgment capabilities. Excellent communication skills needed to discuss complex clinical and scientific material with physician-authors.
Exemption status Exempt
Compensation Detail Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum salary every 2 weeks is approx $3,318.40, based on a full-time position.
