The MMCORC provides the opportunities for patients and physicians to access National Cancer Institute (NCI) and pharmaceutical sponsored clinical trials for all types of adult cancer. See website for further information. Position is posted as full-time (1.0 FTE) position but would consider part-time (.9- .8 FTE) position for the appropriate candidate. Senior Billing Coordinator Position Description: Coordinate research billing process in compliance with local guidelines and federal regulations to ensure appropriate identification and accurate billing of research related cost. Tasks and Responsibilities: Serve as a resource to MMCORC research staff regarding approved research related costs and the site-specific invoice process. Reconcile payments and create monthly financial reports within CREDIT by DDOTS Clinical Trials Management System (CTMS). Verify appropriate CPT codes for research related services. Maintain database of current research fee agreements with member hospitals, clinics and approved vendors. Develop and update study specific invoices as requested. Serve as a liaison to clinic and hospital billing staff regarding research billing. Prepare for signature and approval, submit and track sponsor invoices and payments for research related charges. Verify receipt and accuracy of vendor invoices for research related charges, prepare for signature and track payments. Provide support to Director and Program Managers for tracking routine study payments. Provide training on research billing process to all new MMCORC staff. 11.
