Aerotek Medical Technologist- 3rd Shift! in Watertown, Minnesota

Description:

This position is responsible for serving both internal and external customers by performing a variety of laboratory procedures.

Focus areas include: Automated Chemistry, Immuno-Chemistry, Coagulation, Hematology, Urinalysis, Semen Analysis, Advanced and independent work in Blood Bank and/or Microbiology.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Laboratory Science, Chemistry or Biology or related fields

  • Certified as a Medical Technologist, Clinical Laboratory Scientist or Medical Laboratory Scientist by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) board of registry per CLIA standards

  • Collaborative and Fairly Outgoing – adjusts to work environment quickly

  • Capable of Critical thinking and able to verbalize thoughts

  • Knowledge of basic computer functions and Microsoft Office applications

  • Urinanalysis

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Blood Banking Experience
