JOB SUMMARY:

The ORV Methods Development Lead will oversee and assist with the development and improvement of ORV Design Standards and Guidelines across all ORV Platforms.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and assist with the process development and improvement for ORV system and vehicle level Design Standards and Guidelines.

  • Ensures consistent application of technical requirements in collaboration with Chief Engineers and Directors of Systems and Design.

  • Develop and improve Design Standards, Guidelines and Specifications tracking and control methods.

  • Participate on the Reliance Governance Committee.

  • Other duties as required.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EDUCATION:

  • Bachelors Engineering or related degree required.

  • Test Engineering background required.

  • Experience with data acquisition and data processing methods required.

  • Vehicle and/or Vehicle Sub-Systems Engineering experience desirable.

  • Experience in developing and writing engineering Design Standards and Guidelines desirable.

  • Quality and Customer focused.

  • Must be able to communicate effectively with cross functional teams, both internally and externally.

  • Powersports experience or similar riding background desirable.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Fast paced office environment, travel as needed (expect about 15% to various Polaris facilities).
