Hader Farms Partnership Agricultural Equipment Operator in Zumbrota, Minnesota

Need 2 full time, temporary, seasonal Agricultural Equipment Operators to work for Hader Farms Partnership in Zumbrota, MN. From: 08/10/2020 to 12/31/2020 Work: 38 hrs./week, Mon.-Fri. 7 hrs./day, Sat. 3 hrs./day. JOB DUTIES: Drive trucks and tractors to perform crop raising duties. Harvest, plant, cultivate crops using tractor drawn machinery. Operate tractor and rock picker to pick rocks. Clean grain bins. Operate, repair farm implements. Haul livestock, grain to market. Shovel grain and clean up around farm. Workers who have a clean driving record and insurable driver's license may be required to drive company vehicles. Work hours are determined by crop and weather conditions. The work day may begin/end earlier or later on any given day and evening, night hours may be required. Workers may be requested to work additional hours, weekends, holidays, and the Sabbath depending on crop conditions and need. JOB REQUIREMENTS: 3 months experience; CDL and clean driving record (MVR); possible post hire drug test at employer's expense: testing positive or refusal to abide may result in immediate termination; able to lift 100 lbs.; able to speak /understand English. Must Apply By: 10/21/2020 EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance; employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $12.68 per day during travel to a maximum of $55.00 per day with receipts.
